If you can sneak away on a chilly November for a bit of time off - and are prepared to brave the elements - head for Devils Tower. Why there you ask? For one thing, you will probably have the whole place to yourself since few are nuts enough to camp at that time of the year. Plus, I don't know about you, but I've never seen the Milky Way Galaxy - I mean the galaxy! You can see it stretch across the sky from horizon to horizon ... there are no lights and no polution to block your view. Then, you will hear the mating calls of the elk - and that's all!!! No noise polution either - you may hear the howl of a lobo or two, but you can ignore that. And then there's the eerie sight of Devil's Tower itself, highlighted by the stars it is an awesome vision that you will never forget (and no, I don't work for them - I just loved it, that's all). Lastly, do what we did - bundle up real good ('cause it's gonna be cold) and get out of your tent for a game of midnight frizbee. I promise you this will be your best adventure ever!
